Upon successful completion of the course you will be presented with a University Foundation Diploma in Computing.
This course is designed for students wishing to study Computing and related subjects at undergraduate level at a UK-based university.
General Level /
Experience of Staff
Staff hold a relevant qualification at least one level above the subject level they are teaching and hold a relevant teaching qualification.
Staff come from a range of backgrounds, including academic and industry specialisms. From time to time we may invite guest lecturers or subject specific specialists to take lectures / seminars.
Staff teaching English modules hold a CELTA or CertTESOL qualification.
About This Course
The ETC University Foundation Programme in Computing is aimed at students wishing to enter a UK university. The course prepares students for studying at degree level.
English and IELTS
English and IELTS are included in this course (dependent on the student’s English level).
Students will study content in relation to the following subject areas:
- Principles of Computer Science
- Academic and Research Skills
- Website Development
- Fundamentals of Computer Systems
- IT Systems Security and Encryption
- General English / IELTS
It is possible for students to substitute modules from other UFP programmes depending on the student’s needs.
Fees and Other Relevant Costs
Tuition fees for new students
£9,796 (this includes a £100 non-refundable enrolment fee).
Tuition fees for existing or continuing students
24 weeks: £9,696 per annum.
A range of books are recommended to supplement teaching and are purchased at the discretion of the student.
