Course Overview

The course prepares students for studying at undergraduate degree level, RQF Level 4.

Course Duration

36 weeks. Please note, some classes me be delivered online.

Entry Requirements

• Qualification: RQF Level 2 or equivalent
(AS-Levels / High School Diploma)

• English Entry Qualification: 4.5 IELTS or equivalent

• Minimum Age: 17 years

Certificate

Upon successful completion of the course you will be presented with a University Foundation Diploma in Engineering and Technology.

This course is designed for students wishing to study engineering or computing and related subjects at undergraduate level at a UK-based university.

Credits

This course is designed to be equivalent to 120 credits at level 3. Please note this course is not regulated in England.

General Level /
Experience of Staff

Staff hold a relevant qualification at least one level above the subject level they are teaching and hold a relevant teaching qualification.

Staff come from a range of backgrounds, including academic and industry specialisms. From time to time we may invite guest lecturers or subject specific specialists to take lectures / seminars.

Staff teaching English modules hold a CELTA or CertTESOL qualification.

About This Course

The ETC Engineering and Technology Level 3 University Foundation Programme is aimed at students wishing to enter a UK university. The course prepares students for studying at degree level.

English and IELTS are included in this course (dependent on the student’s English level).

Fees and Other Relevant Costs

Tuition fees for new students

£14,644 per annum (this includes a £100 non-refundable enrolment fee).

Tuition fees for existing or continuing students

£16,544 per annum

A range of books are recommended to supplement teaching and are purchased at the discretion of the student.
